Plus size fashion community event FAB EXTRAVAGANZA Part 2 brought style, education, opportunity, and plenty of fashion-loving energy together under one roof in New York City.
Presented by For All Bodies, also known as F.A.B., the event welcomed influencers, professional models, entrepreneurs, content creators, fashion professionals, and style enthusiasts for a day dedicated to authentic representation. From shopping influencer closets to learning directly from established industry professionals, FAB EXTRAVAGANZA created the kind of experience many members of the plus size community have been requesting for years.
Yes, there were fabulous clothes. Yes, there were recognizable fashion personalities. But beneath all the style and excitement was something even more meaningful: a space where people with diverse bodies could feel seen, supported, and connected to real opportunities.

The Influencer Closet Sale Made Style More Accessible
One of the event’s main attractions was its premier Influencer Closet Sale, which gave attendees the opportunity to shop pieces directly from the personal wardrobes of fashion influencers and professional creatives.
The curated selection featured clothing ranging from sizes M through 4X.
Participating influencers included professional model and content creator Jezra Williams; content creator and stylist Rasheena; professional model, makeup artist, hairstylist, brand strategist, and content creator Brittany K.; professional model and content creator Jillian A.; and content creator Angel Edme.
Each participant brought a distinct perspective to the sale, transforming it from a traditional shopping experience into a celebration of personal style.

“Breaking Barriers & Booking Gigs” Brought the Industry Into the Room
Shopping may have attracted fashion lovers, but education was also at the heart of the event.
The panel discussion, “Breaking Barriers & Booking Gigs,” offered attendees direct access to professionals working across fashion design, modeling, content creation, social media, branding, television, and talent representation.
The panel featured Veejay Floresca, fashion designer and winner of Project Runway Season 21; Sarah Chiwaya, fashion blogger and influencer whose work has appeared in major women’s publications; Jamie Finkenthal, social media brand manager for Catherines and Avenue, professional model, and QVC talent; Madeline Jones, Dorothy Combs Models booking agent and PMM Today co-founder; Sheena Bilonn, professional model and content creator with more than a decade of industry experience; and Crystal Renee, founder of For All Bodies and professional model.
Crystal Renee also moderated the conversation.
The range of experience represented on the panel was important. Building a career in today’s fashion industry rarely involves following one perfectly straight path. A model may also become a content creator. A content creator may develop expertise in styling, brand strategy, speaking, production, or entrepreneurship. Someone working behind the scenes may also step in front of the camera.
By bringing professionals from several areas of the business together, the panel gave attendees a broader view of what a sustainable fashion career can look like.

For All Bodies was founded by Crystal Renee, whose own experiences in fashion helped shape the organization’s purpose.
Renee began her modeling journey in 2011 as one of the only plus-petite models participating in a college fashion show. She later pursued opportunities in New York City, where she witnessed the limited options available to models who did not fit the industry’s traditional expectations.
Rather than accepting those limitations as permanent, she created a platform designed to challenge them.
For All Bodies produces events, opportunities, and content intended to elevate models and creatives from a wide range of backgrounds. The organization’s work is rooted in a straightforward but powerful belief: fashion should not belong to only one type of body.
The Next Opportunity: F.A.B. Digitals Day
Following FAB EXTRAVAGANZA Part 2, For All Bodies is continuing its mission with F.A.B. Digitals Day, a professional model digitals experience taking place on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The event is designed for aspiring and working models, actors, actresses, and content creators who need clean, professional, casting-ready images.
The event will take place at Ripley Grier Studios, located at 520 8th Avenue in New York City.
For emerging talent, having current images can make the submission process feel more manageable. Instead of scrambling when an opportunity appears, participants can leave with materials created specifically for professional use.

“Attending FAB EXTRAVAGANZA reminded me how important it is for us to return to supporting community-led events. These are the spaces where relationships are built, knowledge is shared, and people who have historically been overlooked can feel seen and supported. If we want plus size fashion and representation to continue moving forward, we have to show up for the people creating opportunities for our community.”
